Le financement de Ousmane Sonko par la société britannique  Tullow Oil « c’est un fake news ». C’est du moins ce qu’a dit la journaliste Michelle Madsen contactée par le journal de l’information. 

« Salut Erik, non je ne la suis pas ! Je n’ai pas écrit cet article, ça ressemble à de fausses nouvelles », a-t-elle écrit. Mieux, elle dira qu’elle n’était pas au courant d’un tel financement. 

Michelle Madsen est journaliste d’investigation. Elle écrit pour Africa Confidential, Private Eye et The Independent. Elle travaille aussi  pour le Centre for Investigative Journalism sur des projets en profondeur. Elle est a été formée à Balliol College, Oxford de Londres et à LISPA de Berlin.
